PLASTPOLYMER JOINT-STOCK COMPANY was created on base of firstlings of domestic plastic industry, leading enterprises having wide experience and powerful achievements: NIIPP (Research and Development Institute for Polymerization Plastics, grounded in 1945), in which laboratories are created the first Russian fluoropolymers, polystyrene, polyvinyl acetate and many other kind of plastic; Affiliate of the Moscow Engineering Design Institute "GIPROplast", grounded in 1958ã., and OCP (Okhta Chemical Plant), with a family tree since 1715 from grounded on the decree of the emperor Peter I Okhta powder factory.
Indicative of the developments quality are nine State Prizes, eight Prizes of the Ministers Council USSR and more than 1000 inventor's certificates.
